Due to the queue manager crashes experienced yesterday, we have many email problems with so-called missing mail. WHen I delete the corresponsind UID files, this issue gets resolved as expected.

So, two questions:
   1) Does the queue manager write these UIDs *ever*?
2) I know IMAP does, but see no connection to a UID failure unless queue manager also writes it.

Anyway, bigger question, ANy negative impact (other than server needs to rebuild them) if I delete the UIDs
