Hello...
I'm getting pressure from management to ban gif's as attachments.
They're tired of their attach folders filling up with these gif's,
most (if not all) come from spam. They're telling me that banning
gif's will kill two birds with one stone; reduce attach directory
clutter, and reduce spam.
1) Has anyone else tried this? How'd it go?
2) I'm not finding any legit email of mine that has gif attachments
(an html newletter, etc), so right now I can't refute management's
suggestion. Does this seem like a reasonable thing to do?
3) Do you personally get legit gif's (that are not just someone
sending you a pretty picture)?
