#
# The BANEXT option will let you ban file extensions. E-mails containing
attachments # with these file extensions will be quarantined, and if you
have a BANnotify.EML file, # it will be sent out. This works in the
Standard and Pro versions.

#
# The BANEXT EZIP line blocks all encrypted .ZIP and .RAR files, which is
necessary # to be fully protected against viruses (since it is impossible to
detect a well- # constructed virus within an encrypted .ZIP or .RAR file).
#

BANEXT EZIP

I do not see where you have a choice in blocking files - the list seems to
only grow and grow...

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Banning gif attachments as anti-spam method?

Hi Dale,

Blocking gif images would initiate a medium revolution. A lot a people have
a gif image at the bottom of the mail, eg. a company logo.

Personaly i like plain text, no gimicks and no gadgets.

An Example: I received a printscreen, it was a gif image.
