Hi Dave,

Thanks for your help.  I called the main abuse line at Comcast, but couldn't find any way past the voice mail system.  Then I called that other number you gave me, but still ended up leaving a message.

As of 1:00 this afternoon, we are once again not being blocked.  However, my concern is that they'll mysteriously start blocking us again sometime next week.

Thanks again,

Ben

Subject: [IMail Forum] more Comcast problem

Hi All,

Would anybody really mind if I went totally postal with Comcast?

About two weeks ago, there was discussion on the list about Comcast blocking IMail servers because they don't like the way IMail reports the host.  I'm assuming that's what happened to us, because in the middle of last week, they starting blocking us.  I contacted them several times (the first time called, they couldn't talk because they were getting ready for an office party) and over last weekend, they whitelisted us.  Everything was great until late Wednesday afternoon, when they started blocking us again.

I can't figure out how to resolve this problem permanently, but being blocked from Comcast is obviously upsetting our customers.  Anyone else run into this, and have any idea what to do?

Thanks,

Ben
