Did you use the csr that sslUtility.exe generated to request the certificate
from Comodo? When I set this up on 8.22 I generated a self signed
certificate first using sslUtility.exe which also created the private key
and csr. I verified ssl worked with the self-signed cert. Then I requested
a new cert from my preferred certificate authority, in my case GeoTrust,
using the csr that the utility generated. After receiving the cert, I
backed up my self signed cert by renaming it and just copied in the new cert
with the same name as the self signed one. Restart services and it all
worked as expected.

Basically, I followed the instructions from the knowledge base.

Hope that helps.
