Hello Travis, Matrosity, Joe, Martin and others, The focus of this group, initially, will be IMail though in the future it may include ICS components (like AV, AS, WorkgroupShare). For this initial go round, the focus is on performance (Queue Manager, SMTPD and Web Messaging), parity (features that existed in the old web messaging templates but not the new, like Print button) and international languages- all of which will be included in the upcoming IMail 2006.03 release.
There is absolutely no requirement for folks to install any given build. We ask that you attend the monthly reviews where Ipswitch will demo, via webex, all the work completed in the last month. And we ask that you provide input directly to Product Management (me) and the Dev Team (Tripp and others) as part of this process. The focus of the Review is the past 30 days of work. But... if you have a feature request or are being stung by a nagging defect or see something in another product that will help save you time or make it easier for you to manage/administer IMail and your business, this is a good place to present. What we produce, in 30-60 day increments, we expect to be ready for production and to be something better than a beta but not quite final. As before, releases are not officially public until we announce and notify customers. At that time, customers are free to pick it up.
