Good info David!  For older versions using the patch technology,
a missing file would definitely cause a problem!

To be perfectly honest though, I've not done enough updates with
the never versions of IMail to know how it reacts when a file is
missing. The upgrades at this time appear to be the same size as
full installs, so the problem may not exist, today and since ICS
release about a year ago.

Maybe one of the other Ipswitch folks (Eric S, you reading this?)
has more experience on the topic?

Just make certain you rename back to imailsrv.exe prior to any
update/upgrades to be safe.
