Good info David! For older versions using the patch technology, a missing file would definitely cause a problem!
To be perfectly honest though, I've not done enough updates with the never versions of IMail to know how it reacts when a file is missing. The upgrades at this time appear to be the same size as full installs, so the problem may not exist, today and since ICS release about a year ago. Maybe one of the other Ipswitch folks (Eric S, you reading this?) has more experience on the topic? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of David Gregg Sent: Friday, February 24, 2006 11:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Disable Listserv Just make certain you rename back to imailsrv.exe prior to any update/upgrades to be safe.
