How do you do that in W2K? Just remove the DNS servers from the network
applet?

Don't do forward lookups. Let your DNS server do the lookup itself. The
one problem we've had with DNS in the past is forwarding requests to a
server (an upstream provider) that was not resolving properly.
Save yourself the headache and let your machines do the small amount of
extra work, though you may have only one do it, with the second forwarding
to the first.

Ok, let me clarify, we have 2 boxes running window 2003 server ADS and DNS
and I am looking for prefered DNS servers for my forward lookups.
