I think many of us have something similar to this happen at least once. In our case it was a single message that crashed the queue mgr which is likely the cause of the message buildup for you. Searching the log for "error 500", I think, resulted in our finding the offending message. Removing that resolved the problem. As for email sitting in the spool for two months that would be a big problem for anyone. Imail is currently trying to find an answer for me with regard to T files with matching D files being left in the spool. These are mostly spam but we have found a few valid emails among them. There's also an issue of smptd32.exe memory "racing" or leaking which seems to be limited to our instance of imail. Strangely this is a brand new server bought with the intention of running 2006. Also, when it started processing messages again, I noticed several messages (mainly from website forms that were filled out) that were from two months ago. I'm a little confused by that (and so are our clients who are yelling about it). For what it's worth, we are on a Windows 2000 server with iMail 8.22 and the latest Declude suite. Any thoughts?
