Hello. I've participated on this list for over a year, so I
feel kind of stupid asking this. I know a lot of people
have discussed Cold Fusion, but I want to ask a short,
simple question:

Is anyone successfully running a free web based email
service using Cold Fusion?

I've seen (and written) a bit of chatter about the topic,
issues involved in Cold Fusion. But can someone who has
done it already in Cold Fusion comment on whether it was
successful or not? Whether it was faster or slower than
using IMail and its own templates?

I believe it is much more flexible; however, there are
issues with things such as configuring your vacation
message, etc...

So if anyone has navigated the waters, can they throw
their two-cents in on this?

I appreciate it, and I'm not trying to start another
very technical thread... just trying to determine
whether this route is worth pursuing. Personally, I love
Cold Fusion. It does a heck of a lot and is very intuitive.
I'd like to go that route, but I want to make sure that
someone has successfully crossed the finish line, and
is not just waiting for the latest .dll, etc... to eventually
come down (if at all) from IPSwitch to allow open connectivity,
etc... (pardon my language, I'm not a proficient programmer).

Thanks

Chris
