John:

Did that test and it is not the issue. They are definitely blocking the IP
address.

Does anyone know if comcast is blocking generic reverse dns entries?

Chuck

Not sure if this is the same issue, but last week I began having problems
with verizon then sbc then att. I don't know if Comcast is with that bunch,
but.

They started blocking on my email address domain. By that I mean in Outlook,
for example, the user entered email address. I know this sounds stupid, but
have the user change his
email address to a different domain, that can get through and try sending
again. If that goes through, you have to get a Comcast user to "allow" mail
from your domain. Verizon never blocked our IP just the domain name in the
return address. We had some with no problme, others blocked, with everyone
on the
same IP address.

Good luck, took me a week to figure out.

John
