[IMail Forum] external databases and odbcuser

Hello.   I was having a heck of a time getting external database connectivity to work using the odbcuser file that came with 2006.04. I am trying to connect to a pre-existing user database that was used with Imail v8.05. Finally, I decided to copy the odbcuser file off of the Imail 8.05 server and point the new software to use that for the database connection. Success. Now I can see all of the users in user admin and I have even tested authentication. Are there any possible complications I can run in to by connecting to the external database using the old odbcuser file?
