You can ask AOL to whitelist your server's IP. I had similar difficulties a
few months back. It took them 3 days to add me to their whitelist and now all
mail makes it to them. Before the whitelist I could usually send no more than
three a day thru AOL servers, not three per address, and the rest stayed in the
queue.

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: Exchange Queue Connection problems to AOL

For the past 5 - 6 days or so, our exchange server has had trouble sending any
mail to aol accts.  They just sit there and timeout, retry, timeout, etc until
a Non-Deliverable message is sent back.  I am having the trouble with one other
domain, dmps.k12.ia.us, but all others are working just fine.

So, is AOL having trouble that anyone knows of?
Does anyone know how to look at more detail in the queue of exchange 2003 to
see where the issue is?  Something similar to the sys log file in iMail.

Thanks
