Like I said, this can be argued forever, with neither side "winning".
As I recall, the last discussion on this subject went on for ages as
well.  I contacted our MS Licensing rep and he said (as already reported
by Grant Bainbridge's rep) that alternate email server software was fine
on Web Edition.  As I already suspected, but nice to have a CYA.
