If you know they have a stable mx address
at, say 1.2.3.4, you could enter into the HOSTS file of your IMail server
the following line:
1.2.3.4
nara.gov
If you know the actual host name and
address, you should use that instead:
1.2.3.4
mail.nara.gov
But your log seems to show that the
system never tried to look it up in DNS. That's another issue you should
address.

have a client who is constantly trying to email nara.gov. DNSreport looks like
a Christmas tree with the amount of failures they have in the DNS records. The
question is sometimes the imail server finds the record and most of the time
it does not. What do I need to put in the hosts file to serve as the lookup
for the MX records of that domain?
