Restarting the starengine service seems to have done the trick as well. I had tried this previously to no avail, but it works now.

We're still investigating what caused this drop in the catch rate, but have found if you stop the starengineservice then delete the .dat files from the imail\starengine\data directory (make a backup first) and restart the starengineservice that a new .dat fill will be downloaded which will correct the issue.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Premium Spam acting up?

The premium spam filter has gone from intercepting 1500 emails a day down to below 100. It appears as if the database is still receiving updates every 10 minutes. Has anyone else experienced this? For us, it just started happening 2 days ago. Any ideas what can cause such a drastic change in performance? We run 2006.1.

Thanks,
