Yahoo sucks for having a team in place to deal with this that we can communicate with. One or two emails could go through fine, but when one of our customers would send his newsletter out, we'd see the failures. When I emailed Yahoo about it, they said they are just overloaded and that I wasn't blocked. I would only see connection problems when I sent out my mass emails. ~Laura -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Martin Schaible Sent: Tuesday, October 17, 2006 12:16 PM To: [email protected] Subject: AW: [IMail Forum] Yahoo mail problems Hi, We also have problems to deliver mails to yahoo. I think, it's "leo", a spammer from russia. Thanks to MessageSniffer we will survive this. -- Mit freundlichen Grüssen -------------------------------------------- Merlin Consulting Martin Schaible Bahnhofstrasse 27 CH-8702 Zollikon Phone: +41 44 391 30 00 Fax: +41 44 391 32 49 Mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] URL: http://www.merlinconsulting.ch Support: http://support.merlinconsulting.ch GPS: N47 20.235 E8 34.226 -------------------------------------------- News - Neue Produkte: .:. mxGuard - InvURIBL - MessageSniffer .:. Several of my biggest clients report huge increases in spam in the last couple weeks. I have one new client whose Barracuda was so overwhelmed taking 10+ hours to pass messages through it, so we put an IMGate out front, which blocks 80% of inbound with only a couple of filters. IMGate is delivering less that 2000 msgs/hour to Barracuda now while blocking about 7K/hour. Barracuda is STILL working on 5000 msgs in its queue. IMGate averages 20 secs to deliver a msg to the Barracuda, when it should average way under 5 secs, which indicates how slowly the Barracuda is running.
