I have been seeing the same issue and guessitmated the same thing.  One or
two emails could go through fine, but when one of our customers would send
his newsletter out, we'd see the failures.

I have been seeing intermittent connection problems with Yahoo for weeks.
When I emailed Yahoo about it, they said they are just overloaded and that I
wasn't blocked. I would only see connection problems when I sent out my mass
emails.

Oh yeah, that's right. Especially the stock ad's increased a lot. I think,
it's "leo", a spammer from russia.

Several of my biggest clients report huge increases in spam in the last
couple weeks.

I have one new client whose Barracuda was so overwhelmed taking 10+ hours to
pass messages through it, so we put an IMGate out front, which blocks 80% of
inbound with only a couple of filters.  IMGate is delivering less that 2000
msgs/hour to Barracuda now while blocking about 7K/hour.

Barracuda is STILL working on 5000 msgs in its queue. IMGate averages 20
secs to deliver a msg to the Barracuda, when it should average way under 5
secs, which indicates how slowly the Barracuda is running.
