You're using 1.8x with IMail 2006?  I thought I had heard IMail 8.22 and 2006 wouldn't work with Declude 1.8x or 2.0x due to SMTP changes in IMail.   We've seen the symptoms you're describing with Declude 1.82 and IMail 8.15.  Not too often, but enough to be a concern.  I'm sure the answer would be to upgrade Declude.  I don't believe support is provided for 1.8x any more.  I'm not sure if Declude is still supporting 2.0x.   You might want to ask this on the Declude forum, though.
