Hi David-

Have a quick look at the server's application event log and see whether anything useful is being logged there. If so, set the log to a much larger s1ze than the default (I use 4096 mb), and have it erase old entires as necessary.

If you are running the IMail Monitor service, try turning that off. (Yes, off. It has caused problems with some services in the past, I think one of those was POP.) Needless to say, you will want to monitor the service manually for a while to see whether that breaks the pattern.

Subject: [IMail Forum] IM POP3 service keeps stopping

I have just discovered this but suspect that it's been going on for some
time.

I'm running 8.22 and am seeing the Imail POP3 service stopping every minute
or two.

Does anyone have any experience of this behaviour?

Thanks

David
