hi bill,

per domain, you set that pop users can only pop once per x minutes - this is
tracked accordingly. once the x minutes has passed, block is cleared and
user can pop again. we can pass more details offline if necessary

again, this is optional.

bye for now,

kg

Hi All,

In 2006.2, there is a new capability (optional), settable by admin, that
allows you to set the POP frequency. For example, if set to 5 mins, end
users can only POP once every 5 minutes.

Bye for now,

kg

I've always run the analyze tool for pop logins to see how many people are
checking email every 1 minute.

Hello,

Recently, we have been facing a heavy load on the pop3 service because of
which the server becomes slow. Is there an utilty to find out how many users
are connecting to the pop3 in short intervals and what is causing the
problem for the load?
