In my sig, you will see scripts that sync recipient lists from
internal IMail or Exchange mailbox servers to public-facing IMail MXs,
so that all unknown recips get rejected on initial connection. I don't
yet have such a script for Lyris, but I'm happy to work with you on
creating one. Just need to get a good export format or lookup API.
LDAP API is preferred, but I have a feeling Lyris doesn't support one,
so a plain text file export is also usable.
Sandy, I see one possible issue with this.
For the mailing list addresses, it is easy to set this up on Imail.
But each subscriber gets a custom "unsubscribe" address to remove
themselves from a particular mailing list.
I would loose this ability, since it would be impossible to construct
those out all the time on the fly.
Any thoughts on this?
David
