I couldn't tell ya - when I got back in this morning they were all gone. I will have to wait until it happens again. It only happens first thing in the morning when it downloads lots of messages.

The web mail in 2006.1 actually uses an IMAP connection to look at the messages as well. When you log into web mail using the same account you should see the messages there as well.
