Yeh, that's why I call it illegitimate, and I see no reason to bend
over backwards for this deliberate misuse of the protocol. If the
sender can't afford to even devnull their bounces, they're a joke
and/or they don't have anyone technical advising their abusive
marketers (which should also be duly punished).

Same as above. If you don't field bounces, there's no reason for me to
accept your mail. Individual whitelisting is an exception, but in the
absence of prevailing proof to the contrary, there's nothing that
should stop someone from assuming by default that a mail from a
nonexistent sender is garbage.

I oversee millions of "stock/financial" e-mail blasts, and I would not
tolerate them being sent with nonexistent sender. I never expect
delivery of those messages, and in fact when some accidentally go out
that way, I reprimand strongly. If you want to be legitimate, be
traceable, clean your lists, etc.

Look, I know *how* you send from a nonexistent sender. Just because it
can be done does _not_ mean it's in any way acceptable. Just look at
what happens: here we're talking implicitly about a "weakness" in SAV
requiring workaround whitelisting, when the weakness is really the
brain-addled people who would deliberately make their "legit" sends
look like spam.
