Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Install an Antispam on a separate box
I have submitted the request at ASSP-User list on 6th March with the
subject "Perl.exe process problem",
So you did, but nobody responded nor did you push the issue. Sorry for
that. I have brought the issue back up and maybe somebody with similar
email load will pipe up. In the past, many of the people that posted high
cpu usage were having problems with the IP lookups and found issues with
what they were asking the server to do or issues with Perl modules that
were not functioning correctly.
If you are still interested in ASSP I suggest you push the issue as the
developers are constantly working on feature and bug requests so they may
find one voice with one small post, hard to notice. Hopefully my
reposting will make it more visible to them.
Not an excuse, but fact of life for open-source software. If you don't
have time to really dig into a free product, letting someone like Len set
up Imgate for you might be just the ticket.
In any case, check the ASSP list for responses to your question.
