Yes. IMAIL will mangle attachments in 2006.1 - I have them showing up as .dat files most often. If you have the people sending from Outlook change to plain text, it MAY get the attachment through.... If they could save the attachment first and attach it to a new email instead of forwarding (and send in plain text) that could help as well. They should also jump through a hoop or two...
