Hi,
I have been testing our new 2006.2 server and we have F-Prot scanning it
on a daily basis. Today, I got this warning:
C:\WINNT\system32\E177E04D548C4006A465EEB92D3DE021\Publisher
Runtime\IYWUSCHNFDXW3GDNWLUGM14UQG\Objects\ICS_asm_lic_eng_6_50_43.dll
Infection: Possibly a new variant of W32/Susema-based!Maximus
The program cannot yet disinfect viruses of this type.
The scanning ended successfully, with infected or suspicious object found
The files in this folder appear to be part of IMail. So why the alert?
Or am I wrong and I have something to worry about?
Hi,
yesterday I have seen a similar message during a F-Prot scan - but on my
desktop machine. The file is WUP_asm_lic_eng_9_1_1.dll. Don't know what
it is. But it is located in the same directory as
WS_FTP_HOME_asm_lic_gui_9_3_42.dll which is a Ipswitch file for sure.
Seems like F-Prot generates a false alrm on Ipswitch license files...
