When we did a move from one server to another we ran the windows backup on
the desired drive, then pulled that backup to the new server and started a
new installation in recovery mode... it lined everything up nicely.. I think
this is how Microsoft has the process documented.

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: Moving a windows Webserver Edition

Hello,
Excuse me to abuse this forum for an really off topic questions - but
as Imail is a Internet-Server Product, maybe some of you encountered
the Problem: I have to move windows Users, passwords & ACLs from one
Microsoft 2000 Webserver edition to another Webserver.

Unfortunatly, the normal AD-Tools won't run on the Webserver edition,
as it is a standalone server.

Does anybody knwo a tool or script to Export Users, Passwords and ACLs
and move it to another standalone server?
Both servers are on diferent networks and protected by a firewall.

Matti
