The knowledge base seems to indicate that you can run a DNS server and IMail 2006.23 on the same box. Is this true and if so, what are the cons of doing this?
If you accept to run MS DNS as Internet-facing DNS (only a tiny, shrinking minority does), probably the biggest problem is on a busy mail server where the DNS cache can get to 150+ MB pretty easily.
Another problem is the security settings are pretty limited, so you will very probably need help from firewall.
