Hi, We have one mailist list that we use and as far as I know I have all security set up correctly. The list is populated by us based on student participating in an event and we just edit the corresponding users.lst file. The settings are: "Allow Posting by:" Moderators. No "Allow Unsubscribes based on subject line" Yes "Disallow Subscription ( ie: Private list) Yes "Disable list command" Yes "Enable Posters list" No Use password
There is a posters file, it has just one e-mail address. Now what happens if: Someone else sending a mail to the list? Does it just disapper or does it gtet sent to the list owner of somewhere else? Can someone fake the poster e-mail address? Where is the log for e-mails sent via the list? I've looked before and there seems to be practicaly nothing in the sysMMDD log about messages sent to/via a list. Is there a seperate log I need to activate?
