A) See RFC 1893 for 5.7.1 X.7.1 Delivery not authorized, message refused The sender is not authorized to send to the destination. This can be the result of per-host or per-recipient filtering. This memo does not discuss the merits of any such filtering, but provides a mechanism to report such. This is useful only as a permanent error. B) You are getting this at "End of Data", so the problem is likely NOT simply the "from" or "to" address, or your IP address or the HELO string or your domain name - because all of those could have been blocked instantly BEFORE the SMTP DATA command, which would have saved them bandwidth. Only the other side can tell the specific factor that caused the blocking, but in your case, the block happened AFTER the body of your message was received. So there is a chance that the content of your message (including any attachments, any vanity URLs it might have included in the signature line, any third party links that someone included in their message, etc.) or header information were found to be objectionable. If the message was legitimate and you don't see anything unique in the message or attachments, then you could contact the postmaster of the recipient so that THEY can peruse their own incoming logs to see what specific "filter" your message triggered. Hi Everyone - One of my users is getting this error when trying to send to a recipient outside of our server. I did a little searching and found that it could be a) their server is simply refusing mail from our server, or b) the person who is sending the message has an issue with their domain name (their domain is a virtual domain on our mail server). Any additional thoughts on how to fix this, or if it can be fixed? I rarely see any of these come through, which I think is a good sign. But then they puzzle me when they do! We are running IMail 8.2x with the latest version of Declude.
