Have a quick question for anyone that might be operating gateways, and using IMail as the listserv. Running DNews 5.4b? (the build from last night) which allows you to configure a gateway with a SENDER header, and a FROM header. If you set the sender header, it leaves the from header as the original poster, while if you set the from header it appears the post originally came from the FROM. When an IMail list is set to Subscribers Only mode it appears to only accept posts where the FROM header authenticates against the subscribers base. Has anyone had an experience, or know it it's possible, with authenticating against x-sender or sender? is it possible to do that? If not it appears that the only way to operate an IMail listserv mailing list in gateway mode as OPEN TO ALL.
