Len, is there a means to create some session manager which pings to show
activity, and prvent the time out session manager from activating?

Web messaging works by the Imail Web messaging app creating a "session"
with the browser at login.  Imail holds this sessions active as long as
there is keep-alive activity (http requests) from the browser.  After a
period of no activity, Imail closes the session.
