I doubt it, ping only goes to the tcp/ip stack, it won't get up to the
application level of Imail Web messaging, and at the level of html page
requests across http protocol.
Imail web messaging http server "keeps alive" by resetting the 12 min
counter each time it receives an http request from a given http client, aka
browser.
