[IMail Forum] Does IMail use a database?

Hi,       My customer just installed IMail on their servers. I am wondering if IMail uses some sort of database to keep the users login info. If it doesn't use a db then where does it store all the info? My questions come from the need to develop a form where users can be directed to a URL and create their own email accounts.
