If you have an odbc connector for the Imail machine that points to the sql
server machine database, you should be ok.  I have imail on one box and IBM
db2 on another.  I have the client software and an odbc connector into the
db2 database on the other box.

Hi all,
I have Imail working on my test server with SQL7 fine.
Here is my problem we have the main SQL server that is on the local net work
and the email server is on the internet line with two network cards install
I'm trying to get imail to connect to the main SQL server true the LAN.
If i install SQL on the same server that i install IMAIL it work fine.
can some one please gave my some info please
