Cool.. .I was just wondering....
I'm not saying it would replace the web messaging... just kind of an
enhancement for the free web mail providers (who would/should) still have
the regular HTML version as well.
But also what I'm going to try to do (if it is even possible) is write
flash/director stuff, where you can read and send e-mail from the flash
pages as well. At this point, I'm not even sure if it is feasible....
Because I will need to write many scripts to pull and push from text files.
It was more of a curiosity thing.

I'm with Kirk, at the worst it would be O.K. Most people using an internal
mail server use Exchange, and sadly enough, looks count as much as
functionality in the ISP/Webhosting world.

I think a flash splash could be very beneficial. I would suggest throwing
in some of the more important instructions, such as logging out, along with
the animation. You know, the stuff they really should read on the
instructions page, but usually fly right past.
Obviously though, you'll need to have an alternate path for the
flash-impaired.
