We experience the same behaviour with a German Windows NT 4.0, also with
SP6. The machine is usually pretty idle, it serves only as Mail- and
DHCP-Server for about 40 users.
I recently checked the Ipswitch Knowledge Base and found an article
called "IMail - Any issues with service pack 5?" which says:
"Question/Problem: Does IMail have any issues with SP5?" --
Answer/Solution: No, all of our applications are quite happy with
Service Pack 5 for NT." (see
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990824-DM02.htm, Document #:
IM-19990824-DM02, Revision Date: 08/24/99).
There is _no_ similar document about SP6 :-(
