Than Len, I did forget to tell him about the MX record for the site...
Not only do you need the A record as I describe earlier, you will need
the MX record to coincide with it.
The A record was for the web messaging part.
so you would need these records:
mail A <ip address of imail server>
and
buyreman.com MX <ip address or hostname of IMail server>
