Go ahead and use the footers for advertising.

It doesn't really matter if the footer tells people how to unsubscribe -
someone will screw up.
When one does it, someone else - who never reads footers, either - will try.
It's the yada yada factor - some people don't read the footers - or they
don't "register", because the footer is always there.

I put together a bunch of rules for a rules.ima file that I place in each
list directory.
I know this isn't a complete list of the things people will try, but it's
working, and if something new gets past the filter, I'll add that to the
list.
