Is anyone else using the rules.ima filter for mailing lists?
I'd like to compare notes.
I'm not looking for spam rules - that's a whole 'nuther ballgame.
I filter for...
- Fw: and Fwd: in the subject
- common profanity
- unsubscribe attempts
- a couple of worms - but there must be more than two of them that can be
caught by filters.
- a couple of common guerrilla marketing pitches "get paid to surf", etc.
Now, I don't want to participate in blacklisting any individual or company,
but since most of those pitches are off topic on my lists, and stuff written
elsewhere is off limits, I'm looking to filter some of the more common
phrases.
