Hi Dustin,
This will not affect remote users using pop3, as it only applies to the smtp
service.
If you have remote users with roaming accounts, that are dialing up from
many different isp's,
you have most likely given them an account in one of your domains.
They will have a FROM and REPLY TO email address such as
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
As long as yourdomain.com is in the accept.txt file, they will be granted
access to the SMTP server.
If they don't have an account in one of your domains, you could add their
domain (or specifically their exact email address)
into the accept.txt to allow them to send mail through your server.
But if they have a mailbox in another domain, they probably are using that
domains smtp server as well, so this is probably not necessary.
Foreign domains will still be able to send mail to local users because it is
being delivered directly to the POP3 service by another domains SMTP server.
I think to a creative spammer, they would be able to impersonate one of your
local users
and put in [EMAIL PROTECTED] and still get away with it.
I have received many emails with no sender, or a forged sender address,
so i am not sure that this method will be 100% effective.
I haven't tried this, because I don't know the tactics of these spammers. If
anyone knows how to try this, please post it to the list.

Hi All,
I have found the solution to get ORBS.ORG off our backs.
Set SMTP Security to "Relay mail for local hosts only"
Then edit the accept.txt file to contain any domain you want to allow to
relay mail.
This includes all your local hosts, whether they are dedicated to an IP
address or if they are virtual hosts.
Do not put an asterisk or an @ sign, the syntax should be as follows
alloweddomain1.com
alloweddomain2.com
This seems to work great for blocking out unwanted senders and removing
yourself from the ORBS database.
