I think that's a BS answer from Microsoft. If
that were the case, why does Outlook's IMAP get all the headers where OE
doesn't? Also, looking at the messages I don't get with OE, I don't see
any leading space.

Express v5.0
So, according to Ipswitch's KB, it says that the
reason that OE doesn't get these headers is that the FROM field contains a
leading space, ie, the address in the from field is preceded by a
space. Microsoft's explaination for this is that the leading
space is not conformant to the IMAP4 RFC... , so, it would be an easy fix for
Ipswitch to look at the from field and remove any leading spaces... that way,
the incoming messages dont contain that space.
What are the chances??

I had the same problem. It is in the KB as "Outlook
Express with IMAP does not get all my headers", they offer an explanation
but no solution at least not for outlook express.

Express v5.0
I have had this annoying problem using
Outlook Express 4.x and 5.x. I have new messages (I can see them
using the HTML client), yet Outlook Express refuses to download
them.
What irks me is that I can create a second
account in express and manual ask the second account to check mail, and
by-golly, there it comes.
Anyone else with this problem?
