I'll tackle #2 - as long as you are talking additional domains versus just
additional users, you can specify the top directory on a domain basis - no
reason you couldn't split your domains between drives, or just move all the
user directories to a bigger drive. I can't see how you could specify some
users within a domain, though...
If your mail isn't installed on the system partition, you might be able to
expand the volume by adding additional drives (depending on your current
setup, of course).
