I've unfortunately experienced the exact same thing, it seems that it's because of 
excessive use of the web messaging service. I've upgraded the server hardware, and am 
looking forward to seeing if it helps.

I read somewhere in the knowledgebase that if/when users do not logout correct from 
the webinterface it causes excessive and unused resources. Is there a workaround for 
this ?
