Winnie,
> Can imail support multiple interfaces with only one host?
"Host" and "interface" in the same interface usually means 'host machine
with one or more network interface cards !! Now throw in "sun" as in unix,
and it gets really confusing!!
one answer could be: yes, Imail will listen on all interface cards in the
machine. vbg
>For example, I add an email account <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED] , then
>i can go to <http://sun.com:8383>http://sun.com:8383 to login with the
>interface using the template files in c:\imail\web.
oh, maybe you mean the "user interface" as presented by the web msg
templates? ah ha
>Can I use the email account <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a
>different interface using different template files set? That is one email
>account can process two different interfaces.
No, the Imail host "sun.com" will only have one set of templates available
in the \web directory below the sun.com directory.
When the user "test" logins as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" at the URL: "mail.sun.com",
the "test" user will only see one set of templates.
