Have the students rename the file without the period (i.e. homeworkvbs
instead of homework.vbs) or zip the files before attaching. Extra work for
them but much safer for everyone.

students pass programs back and forth. I tried it and quickly filled the
mailbox with about a 50/50 mix of virus and school work. I'm open to
suggestions but suspect it will have to be one for one filtering rather than
a bulk solution.
