While evaluating IMail, I managed to take all the domains out at Ipswitch's
direction. This was to correct a problem with which IP was assigned to the
root domain.
I emailed them then got poking around in the registry a bit. I found a way
to get all the users & domains saved and a reinstall and import of the
registry files fixed things.
But, except for the bad advice that got me there, the nice thing was at 8AM
the next day I had a call from Ipswitch tech support ready to fix the
server.

So, I agree, Ipswitch does go the extra mile on support.

I own an Enterprise version of Exchange. I paid $245.00 to find out hat when
the IS has been corrupted, you are screwed. Well, the fact that one corrupt
message header will take Exchange down in a matter of days allows you to
back up the corrupt data until you have no valid data to restore.

Thus, IMail. My users miss public folders, but I figured that is what the
file server is for...

I had that kind of support from Ipswitch 3 years ago in my Imail eval
period.
