Well this leads to another nasty argument
about upgrading versions. I upgraded to the
latest 5.x version and very shortly
thereafter they came out with 6. So I keep
getting told to get 6.0 for many many bucks
I've already spent and no they aren't going
to fix the bugs in 5.
So I figure posting workarounds for the crap
in 5.x is the least I can do.
And if you think I'm miffed about purchasing
a product and being told a couple of months
later that I have to pay even more for the
fixes to know bugs, well you'd be right.

Well, that's not the experience we've seen
here since Ipswitch put out the
post-6.03 patch Daniel mentions for SMTP
AUTH. Please stay current in your
advice and versions.
