I have battled with this type of problem for a while now.
I worked the global rules.ima file to death as well as the
kill.lst. All of those do help somewhat. I also use Control
Access in SMTP Security. Again, this helps some.
Unfortunately I was forced to start implementing even more
secure measure and most recently this involved setting up
IMGate and utilizing MAPS. I also have started implementing
router blocks to keep some of the real trouble servers out.

server and my kill list is a mile long with many over seas domains. Even
with the kill list and allow control, if I uncheck the null sender the spam
floods my T1. What are some other options? I have heard of a blacklist and
thought that might help but I cant find it. Any help would be nice. Also I
get a lot of spam from places like yahoo, and excite. I am a nation wide ISP
I have thousands of users is there a good filter setting for these domains?
